Musters: Yoga

Due to the rigorous exercise during training, the Warriors Guild starts out each muster with yoga for stretching and warming up. The poses are linked to currently linked to an outside sources, but we will soon be adding our own pictures of these poses.

Yoga Stances

Warm Up Poses
Warming up is essential to prevent soreness, pulled muscles and joints, and tension.

Strength Poses
Strength poses are very important to the Warriors Guild.

Standing Poses
Standing poses promote balance and have a centering effect.

Sun Salute
A flowing sequence of alternating forward bending and backward bending poses that build strength and stamina. Each pose is motivated by a breath, which creates heat. The series also teaches coordination and grace.

Seated Poses
Seated poses are great as a cool down to a yoga workout.
